PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Born David Jonathan Drew, J.D. Drew grew up in Hahira, Georgia with younger brothers, Tim and Stephen, who are also in the Major Leagues. Tim played for Cleveland Indians, Montreal Expos and Atlanta Braves and Stephen is currently the shortstop for the Arizona Diamondbacks. J.D. and his brother Tim are the only set of brothers to be selected in the first round of the MLB Draft in the same year. While at FSU, J.D. broke 17 school and conference records in baseball. He is married to, wife, Sheigh Drew and has two children, Jack David (2/19/2006) and Ella (11/7/07).
